So it looks like Cassie has dabbed into this new creative and artisitc perspective of herself again... and I like it! I've always thought Cassie was a beautiful girl no matter what she does to her hair. Only a pretty face can really be able to make such risky decisions, like shaving half their head, look so glam! According to necolebitchie.com this look was for a recent photoshoot for Cassie's upcoming Fall 2009 Look Book entitiled "Electro Love" which is also the title of her new album. Although I do hate to admit it, I agree with Necole Bitchie, this look not only reminds me of singer Jonalle Monae but also Rihanna's new look.
Side note: I just might get Cassie's new album. I hear she's got a more mature sound on this one. I definitely love the first single "Must Be Love".
I guess it's official, this is the year of female artistic liberation.
